Cut-out butterflies: craft project no.2

I recently brought some cute cut-out paper butterflies (yes, of course on Etsy) after deciding that the cheap IKEA light shades in the girls bedrooms were looking really boring and needed some bling.

I bent them slightly in the middle to give them a 3-D effect and glued them on with PVA glue. It was an exterior glue, so I figure it should stay on for a while. As an aside, who would of thought that wine bottles would be so perfect for raising the light shades to the right height to work on!

It was really easy and looks lovely when finished and up. Miss Three wasn’t too impressed at the beginning because she thought the butterflies were for her to play with…
